In the Video Tools > Edit tab, set the Duration.It is important to select all the frames, because in the next step you will set the frame-rate for the movie, and it is an attribute of the individual frames. If not, you can use the "Select All" button on shown on the "Home" tab. When first loaded into the workspace, all the frames will be selected (outlined in light blue).Note that you can use a windowed selection to select groups of files, and you can remove individual frames from the work-space if you get frames you did not intend to use. Click in the area on the right to select the individual image files created by V-Ray or Kerkythea.At the top are a series of tabbed toolbars for invoking various actions on the current movie project. On the left is a preview window for the movie. As shown, there is an area on the right which displays the collection of material the user is assembling into a move. The Movie Maker interface is shown above. The program may also be already installed, so you may want to do a search for it before downloading, just to be sure. It is one of several so-called "Microsoft Essentials" that the company makes available for free download on their website. Movie Maker allows you to perform a variety of composition tasks, including movie editing and assembling individual frames into a playable movie ("video file" as they call it).

Whatever comes of the Clipchamp acquisition, it won't be included in the initial version of Windows 11 when it's released on October 5. Microsoft's current tools definitely aren't up to the level of iMovie, which Apple offers for free to macOS, iOS, and iPadOS users. Clipchamp is "also a great fit for Microsoft Windows," which currently only offers very basic video editing via the built-in Photos app. Microsoft hasn't made specific announcements about where and how Clipchamp will be integrated into its products, but it hinted that the app "is a natural fit to extend the cloud-powered productivity experiences in Microsoft 365," implying that the web version will be a part of Microsoft's subscription service in the future. That situation will hopefully change thanks to Microsoft's acquisition of Clipchamp, a web-based video-editing tool. Clipchamp includes a variety of built-in templates for family-video editors, Twitch and YouTube streamers, and businesses putting together ads or other branded videos. Microsoft hasn't updated its old Windows Movie Maker software since 2012, and it hasn't even offered the old version for download since 2017, leaving Windows users to fend for themselves when it comes to beginner-friendly editing and sharing of video clips.
